Grand Gaube is in the north east of Mauritius and many people like it because of its typical Mauritian character and the low number of overseas visitors.

There are small grocery stores, a post office, a restaurant and a medium sized hotel. All of these are within easy walking distance of the holiday houses and all of the things you need on a daily basis can be found there.

Occasionally you will want to do shopping on a larger scale or will want to visit other restaurants. This can be achieved in Grand Bay, which is only 15-20 minutes, away by car or taxi.
